Courses are held at our brand-new riverside headquarters in Battersea Reach and taught by experienced industry professionals. You will learn about planning and delivering dance programmes, safeguarding, and the application of dance science. Our programmes also include Continuing Professional Development (CPD) featuring our entire range of Syllabi at our flagship events for students and teachers.
All students are supported throughout their course through individual tutorials and mentoring sessions that encourage them to reach their full potential in a supportive and creative environment.
bbodance is an awarding organisation recognised by the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (Ofqual). All Teaching Qualifications programmes are on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) and the European Qualifications Framework (EQF).
Applicants should be 18 years or older and have GSCE or the equivalent in English & Maths at C+, as well as Intermediate Foundation in Dance in any genre or the equivalent.

Founded in 1930 by Edouard Espinosa and Eve Kelland, bbodance is an international dance awarding
organisation with a large membership in Australia and New Zealand. bbodance provides Ofqual-recognised Syllabi in Classical Ballet, Modern, Contemporary, Musical Theatre, Jazz, and Tap. bbodance also provides dance teacher training for Levels 4 to 6, as well as a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Dance that is an official feeder for London Studio Centre. Recent Patrons include Craig Revel Horwood, Robert Parker, and Brenda Last OBE.
